Hi Everyone!

As many of you know the amazing Tasha Linton has joined forces with Citi and is now a lender at KW Ellicott City. In honor of this great merger Citi is having a launch party. But since it is October we thought it would be amazing to make it Halloween themed and make the launch party bigger and better. So thanks to Capital Title and 4U Home Inspection's help it is going to be at a really fun venue. So wear your favorite costume and we will give away prizes for the best costumes.

I know the drive into Baltimore can be no fun but I promise you will love the venue and will have a great time. If you are interested in carpooling please let me know and we can start a list at the front desk. And please RSVP by Oct 20th since Citi will be providing food for everyone.

DISC Assessment - One of the greatest challenges and most rewarding aspects of the real estate market is understanding and effectively communicating with your clients. Join us on Friday, 1/28/11 from 10am -12:30pm for the DISC Assessment Class offered to all realtors. You will learn behavioral preferences of clients based on their spoken words and actions (you may even learn a little about your friends and family based on this assessment).

The acronym DISC stands for: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Conscientiousness.

Part I- From 10 - 11am -complete the assessment, then learn how to administer and score the indicator (if you have already taken the assessment and have a copy of it, you do not have to attend part I of the course. Just remember to bring your assessment to the class for Part II.

Part II From 11am -12:30pm - time will be spent on interpreting the the assessment, as well as, how this knowledge can be used to improve your interpersonal relationships with your clients. Learn how behavior preferences affect conversations, understanding and marketing. *BONUS - take home copies of the assessment to givr to friends and families: improve your communication with your spouse, kids and friends and get them to see things you way!:)

We started using ProShred in June 2009 and have saved 5 mature trees for 2009! We save an average of one tree every 5-6 weeks by just recycling our confidential material.

This doesn't count the non-confidential paper we recycle during the week. I am sure we have saved at least a neighborhoods worth of trees ;)

We have also reduced the paper and styrofoam cups by encouraging our agents to bring their own water bottles and use the coffee mugs we provide in the office.
